Need help saving my 580's

I need help with my left driver for my 580's. One day it just quite on me so I took it apart to see what was wrong. If anybody has taken apart a set of 580/600/650's then you know that there is a channel going from the drivers and the springs that hold the connectors. Well those two really fine copper wires running along that channel the one in mine is broken. So I am desperate as I really loved these things, but I have had them shelved for several months because of this problem.

you can buy new drivers for the 580 and 600 at 55 a piece.

Yep, the driver and the housing (easy swap)

I was hoping to not have to order a new driver, but if I did would this be the right part: Retail 2002

It is a big PTA for me because I don't use or have credit cards (yes i'm 29 not 16) to buy the part. I suppose that nobody here on the forum has a driver out of a set of beat up old cans that I can buy? Anyways are you sure that the little wire can not be fixed somehow? I have no idea how that little wire broke as I have never abused or even dropped my cans.

Thats the part, not sure on getting it fixed.

The Customer service was friendly, give them a call and ask if you can send a check?


I know how you feel, my hd580s are my favorite cans.

If I can I might order it with a credit card from a family member. How fast are they at getting stuff sent out.
