Well, I was re-recabling my ksc 75 with mogami starquad and the cable pairs lost their twist, how to restore it and keep it so that it maintains itself? I want to try a sleeveless version this time. I retwisted them and made the stay so for 12+ hours, but they are not setting, should I braid them by adding a piece of string?

Ask your girlfriend/wife, sister, or mother how to braid.

seems that the answer was, tape them somewhere, twist them and hang them so they set and voila

*I know how to braid (I may have longer hair than your girlfriend

) but you don't really braid 2 strands together.

Yes - well, you weren't specific when you said starquad. Hopefully, you'll have better luck getting help with a taped solution next time.

well, that didnt work so I re twisted them, taped them and strung them tight and heated them with a blowdryer, could work better with a point mouthed one but we're working with what we have at hand. They're still sitting like that, I'm hoğnig to work with them tonight

I made it truly sleeveless it turned out good and I kind of did a permament job on the ends

I don't like the flex resistance of heatshrink, are they all like so or is the clear type more flexible?
