So I'm leaving tomorrow night for vacation and I wanted to pick up a pair of decent headphones. But since I'm leaving tomorrow I have to go to Best Buy (which I will match an online price because everything is overpriced there), and they only carry several decent brands.

I went there last night planning on getting something but the headphones I had picked out weren't there. So out of Sony, Sennheiser, Bose, and I think Klipsch.... what would you suggest for under $100? Preferably under $75 but I'd go under $100 if it means I'm getting something worthwhile for the money. I'm not looking for earbuds, just headphones. And I'll be spending my time listening on the plane, in my room and laying down and chillin on the beach. So I think closed ear would be better for that? I'm not positive what the difference is between open and closed ear.

Just in the past 30 minutes or so I've looked at the Sennheiser HD428's. They had a lot of Sennheiser's so I think that might be my best bet. I need multiple suggestions as Best Buy might not carry everything. Thanks!

First you gotta figure out what Sony's they sell at your Best Buy and then buy that. Just kidding. But really avoid closed Sennheisers I've had the best regarded one on here the HD 439 and it just sucks the soul out of music. It's like listening to music playing in the next room, it might be relatively clear and balanced but it doesn't feel alive.
