hi anyone who have tried out the above 2, can u give me some comments and feedback regarding the 2 models thx!

well i have only heard comparisons to the dba vs westone 2 and most like the dba better so I would assume the dba are superior to the 1. Some prefer the dba to even the westone 3

For the price you pay, the DBA is most likely the better deal for the SQ, Joker should be along shortly since he has heard both.

The Westone 1 does a few things well but it has trouble covering the entire frequency range with its single armature. The top end especially sounds somewhat strained and de-emphasized. The DBA-02 has excellent presence throughout and also sounds cleaner/clearer than the W1. I could go on and on but in short, the DBA-02 is by far the better earphone as far as I'm concerned.

how are the ear tips for the dba 02? i know that the westone comes with many tips including the foam tips. but the dba 02 only has the normal tips. are they comfortable? and do they have a good seal?

well the new batch has new tips, so I havent really heard much about them- they seem fine. But if they dont work you could always get some sure or etymotic tips
