Need help find an appropriate amp for a specific set of speakers.

Hello all. I'm a first-timer here, so I apologize in advance, but if one would be so kind, I would appreciate any sort of assistance.

Though these may be car speakers, I plan to use them inside the house for a sort of home theater system by connecting them to an amp/receiver.
My problem is that I don't know what to look for in the amp/receiver I'd hook the speakers up to. Price-wise, I'm looking for something under $300.
Whether it be a guide or a straight-arrowed link to a amp/receiver, any help would be greatly appreciated.
