I've been looking at Sony mdr 7510, Sony mdr 7506 and Audio-Technica ATH-M40X. But im not sure which one to get. Im leaning towards the mdr 7506 but mainly because of the durability, my main purpose is listining to music(Classic,Rock,Rap) on the go

Avoid the 7506 like the plague. It's painfully bright and harsh. The M40x is a better choice. Of course, you can equalize either of them to get a more accurate sound, but the M40x still has advantages in terms of comfort and so on.

I own the MDR-V6 headphones, they are what the MDR-7506 are based on and they are considered to sound about 90% the same.
The MDR-7506 are slightly (very slightly) brighter then the MDR-V6 headphones
The MDR-7506 will have a somewhat boring sound, as they are more meant for analyzing audio, then music enjoyment.

Check out the Takstar Pro 80 (Gemini HSR-1000) headphones.

Well after some looking around on the web i decided to go with the ath m40x atleast for music. But i think im also going to upgrade my razer kraken pro to something a bit better for gaming. So my question is whether i should go for takstar 80 or hyperx cloud2?, they cost about the same where im from
