Hello Head-Fi, this is my first post here
I've finally decided to jump into the audiophile world, and as such I'm on the hunt for an amp+dac combo, plus a new pair of cans.
I have a budget of around 1200 dollars, and I have come up with the following:
Headroom desktop amp (includes a DAC)
Sennheiser HD650
I intend to use the amp with my PC (hence the DAC requirement), and I listen to a pretty wide range of music (mainly classic rock, metal, drum&bass and jazz)
Any other ideas? Suggestions?
