i need to get an in ear headphones for around $100
im mainly lookin for something with alot of bass and has sound isolation for use in nyc's trains
ive had the shure se110 and didnt like the fact that it didnt have enough base it was good at sound isolating though
also had the vmoda bass freqs and they broke after a few months also the bass was sometimes muddy

looking at getting the Monster Turbine High-Performance In-Ear Speakers for $111 at amazon
or i am open to other suggestions
are the turbines any good or are the newer ones better?

Turbines are great, isolate very well depending on the tip used. You may have gotten more replies in the IEM forum section

You could probably find those Turbines a bit cheaper used or if you shop a little bit. I got my off of Buy.com almost a year ago for $95, and that's when they were normally going for $150.
