Hi everybody! Here is my first thread but I have been in the forum for about 3-4 months and learned a lot from here. Head-Fi is a great forum

I started digging into audio world just few months ago. I had an HD555 and a SRH440 before gifted them all to my family. Now I want to build a decent rig with low budget (college student) and after reading thousands of post here I came up with something:

- Super Pro DAC707

- Little Dot MK III

- HD600 OR DT 880/600

I believe the low budget DAC and Amp I chose above are highly appreciated by you guys so they are not much of my concern. However I'm very appreciated your opinion about that marriage. Are they a good couple? Are they nice when matching with each other?

And here is my main concern: HD600 vs DT880/600 given those above rig. As I said, I tried the SRH440 and HD555 and I prefer the Senn quite a lot more (just wish it to have just a little stronger bass) so I think HD600 is a safer choice.

But since I'm new to the audio world I'm tempted to try other famous brands. I read reviews of the DT880 and I believe I will like its characteristic. So let's say I prefer the DT880/600.

However it seems your guys prefer to match the LD MK III with Senn's cans rather than with Beyerdynamic's ones. How is your opinions about DAC707 + LD MK III + DT880/600? Can the LD drive that cans? Or they are a bad combination (I heard some people here said that) and I should go for HD600?

Thank you guys! All helps are appreciated
