Getting beyerdynamic dt250 250 ohms tomorrow. Looking at getting a small amp to power them.
Will mostly be used from my yamaha motif es keyboard which has a headphone output which I believe is around 40 ohms.

I don't think it will be loud enough so want something to go between the headphone out and the dt250 ' s.... I what shall I buy?

The DT250-250 aren't particularly hard to drive.

So what would you recommend to drive them?

Another reason I may need an amp is I play live I am a band and may use them for a song or 2 and will need to adjust volume with changing the volume to the keyboard.

If you can DIY and like tube sound, I'd recommend the Crack since you have high impedance cans.
