Ok so today I was running with my mini and feeling a little tired cuz i was going up this crazy hill, but all of a sudden the song "Session" by linkin park on the meteora cd started playing. I have no idea how but instantly I got so freaking pumped up that I ended up completely owning that hill and running another two miles =P. I REALLY need more songs like that, cuz if i had 1-2 hours of music like that i'd work out like maaaaaad. Does anyone have any good suggestions that would be as/even more hardcore than Session?

I think it depends on what type of music you prefer.

Most punk music gets me into the mood. But it has a lot of cussing. If you have virgin ears, maybe techno could work?

Try Rocky soundtracks. Especially Rocky IV has a great soundtrack.

See, I think it really is a matter of personal taste. I'd never think of listening to Beethoven while working out.

I always think of classical music for relaxing, not for punishing workouts. But that's just the way I think of it.

Unless you were being sarcastic about Beethoven.

The Chemical Brothers ~ "Dig Your Own Hole"
Prodigy ~ "Fat Of The Land"
Ryukyu Underground ~ "Ryukyu Remixed"
Way Out West ~ "Intensify"
Amon Tobin ~ "Chaos Theory"
Meat Katie ~ "Fabric Live 21"
Red Snapper ~ "Our Aim Is To Satisfy"

Those are my favourite exercise *ahem* music.

Try syncing your workout with some Dream Theater... All those random 13/16 bars will really keep you in sync... I think...
