Which is the better deal?:

HeadRoom AirHead

OR

HeadRoom BitHead

I need honest opinions on this, any advice would be really appreciated.

P.S. If you don't like either of them, please don't list other amps, thx.

Haven't heard either one, but the basic amp appears to be like my old Microshar107B....basic, no real frills, but will do an adequate job. I doubt that the chips have sockets at that price, so any attempt at sound improvements via chip rolling would depend on your soldering skills.

If I were debating purchase of either one, I'd go for the DAC option (Bithead??) My XM-5 has it, and the laptop sounds a LOT better with it.

^ Yeah, you need a digital signal to use a DAC. If you don't have a digital signal = iPod etc. You have no need for one.
