I need new earphones. What I am gonna use them for is primary the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

I have been looking at the Shure SE530 but they are so expensive. I don't know if it is worth it. What I want is very good detail, soundstage (if possible), good deep/ punchy bass. Overall something that sounds close enough to Denon D2000/ D5000 (which I know isn't quite possible with earphones) but the sound signature of D2000/ D5000 if you know what I mean. I listen mostly to Pink Floyd (Progressive Rock), DragonForce (Power Metal, fast drums, lots of guitars).

What should I be looking in to? Help me out Head-Fi. You helped me out earlier with my headphone purchase

highs are 10x better mids are fairly = and shure are ever so slightly better in the bass department that and the fact that the tf10's are cheaper make them the better choice

get the tf10's triple drivers, (to me) sound a lot better then the shures, and they have replaceable cables. Can be had for somewhere near 350 off of amazon

How are they cheaper? You can get the SE530's for quite a bit less than $350.00.

well so can the tf10's I bought mine on amazon for 305 and no authorized shure dealer is selling them for less then 350 therefore that is not a accurate statement since there would be no warranty

My vote is for the 530s, They have awesome bass, great mids, and ill agree the highs are slightly recessed, not necesarily a bad thing; makes the sound non-fatiguing.
They are also quite a bit more compact than the tf10s, the 10s are huge, I couldn't fit them and I have pretty average ears.
Check headroom for the 530s

Not true, shipped from headroom they are 340.

First of all you said $350, not $305.00 and check headroom for pricing.

For Denon-like IEMs you should get the UM2, lots of bass and clarity, very well-balanced. But for Pink Floyd the SE530 or even the SA6 would be better choices since their airy and spacious sound fits them better.

As for Dragonforce... I think you are better off listening to real power metal like Blind Guardian or Kamelot.

In any case the Triplefi 10 fits them well.

Haha, I too <3 my 530s, they will be my forever portables. Unless someone gives me a certificate for some UE10s or 11s then I'm jumping ship

I know there a couple of places that are authorized Shure dealers that sell quite a bit less than $350.00. Personally, I have never tested TF10's, but I do have 5EB's and can't get a fit no matter what tips I use and are way too big. There are a lot of posts here on fit between the two and my SE530's fit like a glove. RE1 might be an option, sound great but not quite as much isolation.

I think I'll either get the Shure 530's or Denon AH-C700.

I will use it primary for the Nokia 5800 unamped. The 530's are twice as expensive and I am not yet convinced to jump up to the huge price tag considering I'll be using them for my Nokia 5800 unamped. What do you think?

It's not very important to be über amazing, as long as the music meet my requirements: Good Soundstage, Clarity, deep/ punchy bass (most important; controlled bass), fairly balanced. Then I am happy. I am sure both of them meet my requirements.. I am just not convinced to pay $200 more for the 530's (I am a student so money is a bit of a problem now). Oh, and another thing: They must be comfortable! I don't want them to be huge or anything.. they should fit fine to an average ear!

Edit:

How would Denon AH-C700 stand against Denon AH-C751?
