Right now, I have a Sony Walkman NWZ A815 with Sony MDR EX082 earbuds. But I'm not exactly satisfied. Will Soundmagic PL 30s do the trick for $25 at focalprice.com? If not, then which earbuds in the market will satisfy an audiophile for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance.

I think the PL30 sounds great considering the price. I say you have nothing to lose, especially now that Head-Direct is selling them.

Mate, this is a forum - not an answering service. There are a few threads regarding PL-30, that should get you a good idea of how PL-30 will sound like.

If you have no budget, get UE11's.

EDIT: Nevermind, you said reasonable price. Elaborate?

Holy moly! Those cost about $1000, although I'm sure they are audiophile level. I can't afford it because I don't get an allowance or have a job. I'm looking for something around $50. Thanks

How much should it cost about if it was priced normally?

I'm pretty sure they're $30 at Head-Direct.

And Head-Direct>FocalPrice

Why head direct > focal price? focal price has them for $25. And, what I mean was: since the PL 30 are "astounding" for their price, that means they're underpriced, right? So, if they were priced properly in conjunction with their quality and sound quality, how much would they cost? That is what I mean. Thanks

I looked and the Audio Technica seemed pretty good, however I really cannot afford it.
