Need DAC/Pre in 1k$

Hello to all. I needed DAC/Pre for connect by XLR to my studio monitors Adam A8X, for home/music usage. Maybe another monitors in the future.
Now i like to NFB-28, because it have full balance, good headphone amplifier and remote control. What can u say about this device in 2017? is it best for money it cost?
What about another devices like Gustard X20Pro with new 2*9028Pro is it better or not? What about new trend R2R dacs? Audio-GD just released new one - Sign 19, maybe something like this device, with external preamp?
Dunno best choise, need your help guys. Thanks.

I've been using the Audio-gd DAC/amps and amps with studio monitors for a while now with good results. The Adams from my impressions scale up with gear well above their price point, to the point I'm using the in-built volume control of my ARTist 3s directly from my DAC.
