Hello all,
I'm looking for a dac / amp device that will work with my android phone, Nexus 6p, via usb line in ( sorry if my terminology is wrong ).  Most of the devices I've seen are meant to be portable and either have a built in battery OR are powered by your phone.

I use my phone to listen to music all day at work and I'm just looking for an upgrade in audio quality.  So, I don't really need something portable.  Ideally, I'd like it to have a separate power input so I wouldn't have to worry about the unit using my phones battery.  I also don't really want to deal with a built in battery as I won't be able to charge it and listen to my phone at the same time without it draining my phone.

So far I haven't been able to find any devices that meet my requirements, most are powered off of their usb input.  Also, like to keep the budget $100-200 range.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The Schiit Fulla 2 has the option for you to power it through a separate power supply or the device it's plugged into. I would take a look into it.
