alright, i'm decently knowledgeable as far as headphones, but i'd like to delve in to speakers.
I have a nice old Sony reciever in my room right now, but the speakers are sub-par. 2 old boombox speakers, and also a 5.1 logitech computer speaker system that is very "meh" sounding. They play music, but im looking for something more.
I only need a set of 2 speakers, but my budget is around $50. (flexible if they;re nice)
I am VERY interested in the Insignia NS-B2111 Bookshelf speakers. I've heard great things about them. But, the problem is that they are at $87, which has been raised from the around $40 people paid on other forums and such a while back. Insignia® - 6-1/2" Bass-Reflex Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) - NS-B2111
I also have some local sellers that have some available. Please let me know anything you know about these. Keep in mind i could haggle these prices a bit.
Klipsch KG.5 $75
DCM CX-17 $75
Keep in mind, this is for one room, and i'd rather not buy a seperate sub.
Sorry for being so long-winded, but i've been searching all over, and any advice would help. Thanks!
