Hello everyone. Looking to upgrade my current setup which is the Topping VX1 and the FiiO Taishan. It'll be paired with the Sennheiser HD558 (foam modded). The main use will be with these headphones so a quality headphone amp/dac is what i'd need the most (i'm aware that they're not hard to drive but i need the best possible sound clarity/quality for the money!). Preferably with the optical in (for the ps4 since you're unable to get the sound through USB). Currently eyeing the SMSL M3 or the SMSL M6. Are these a good option? Is the amp/dac noticeably better than what's inside the VX1 and the dac inside the FiiO Taishan? let me know if there's a better option and if its worth getting the SMSL M6 over the M3.

Assuming you want headphone surround sound for use with a gaming console (PS4).
Astro Mix-amp.
