I performed an Aux-Input hack mod on my RX8 and it requires me to use an 80 minute silent audio CD in wav format. I can purchase one for 8 bucks (not including shipping) but I rather not. I used Windows sound recorder to record 60 seconds of silence through an input that wasn't in use, so that means I had zero noise, just a silent wav file.

Unfortunately Windows sound recorder only allows 60 seconds of recording time, so my radio repeats the same track after 59 seconds and pauses for 2 seconds during repeat. I searched all over the internet using every key word I could and haven't found an 80 mile wav file to download or a program to create one. Can someone help?

Greatly appreciated! I'll try that out right now.

Yep, couldn't be easier with Audacity, just go to Generate->Silence->4800 seconds, export as WAV and you're all set.

I just made one for you, but the file is 403MB and I don't think me uploading/you downloading 403MB of silence is worth it :p

It works! You're a life saver! I've been trying to figure things out since 8:30pm!

A bit more complex, but you could always loop a recording of John Cage's 4'33" approx. 18 times.

$8.00 plus shipping? I guess silence is golden.
