Need advice on these $100~ cans

Hello, I've been looking through this forum for a couple months on and off. I haven't really gone in depth and read every post or know every term but I recently broke my headphones. I rolled over the cord while playing some CSS. Though nothing great they did the job. They were the sony mdr cd380 i got them on sale from FS for $30 reg $90 i think.
Now I'm looking for some new cans and i really liked the "soundstage" the mdr cd380 had so i would probably be leaning toward sony.
I'm basically looking for something that has good soundstage but if there is a really good deal on some higher priced headphones I would gladly look into them. I'd like to keep it under $125 shipping and taxes included if possible.
Now as for music I really do listen to everything from, rock, rap, alt, classical, jazz/blues, oldies, and many more that i can't really fit into genres.
Also if anyone knows of any good stores in or around Edmonton AB for listening/buying headphones please speak up.

A few headphones that caught my eye have been these:
SONY MDR-SA1000
AKG K271
Sennheiser HD555
Sony MDR-7509HD

Now almost all of them were from US store/etailers so I'm not sure what shipping and taxes and what ever other hidden fees there are. Or how it works Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I will be using them for my computer with x fi extremmusic sound card the first gen.

I, personally have a great liking for the Senn soundstage however I think you may find them lacking in the bass department

Do a search for ATH-ES7's (or better yet just type in es7) on the forums and start reading. They are in your price range and are some really sweet headphones. I have yet to regret buying mine.
