Ok, it's not for me but for my little bro's bday. There's two limitations that I need to adhere to.

1. It'll have to be not much more than $200, not including shipping/tax.

2. He needs some sort of pclink/usb connection since his only other source is the puter.

I don't think a line out is that important to him. I have gotten him a pair of Sony V6 and I'll throw in a pair of KSC-35 with the MD.

The criteria means you can get either the Sony N505 or the N707. On eBay, new N707s seem to fall under $200.

Sony n505/n707 are pretty much your only choices. I don't think sharp has anything with usb for under $200.

Yeah, going with Sharp will most likely mean you can't get the USB. I think the USB-equipped Sharps (external accessories included, not built-in like Sony) are either older or beyond our budget.
