Hello Head-fiers,

I am pretty new to high quality headphone stuff, I primarily used speakers. However, unfortunaetly I work third shift now, and speakers make neigbors unhappy at 3am.

I was looking for a great sounding amp for $200 (or a touch more if there is a way better one). It doesnt have to be portable if it will have better sound then a portable. I will be using it at my computer so if it has a usb hookup thats a bonus, but not a requirement. I am using Sennheiser HD 280 pro's, which are the first pair of "good" headphones i have ever purchased. I was looking at the Little dot II's but it sounds like you are gambling with getting a working unit, and the Creek - OBH-11. Any other suggestions, Tube or SS?

That iBasso looks pretty cool. Couple questions for you tho: Can the ac adapter run the amp or does it only charge? Does the USB cable run the power to this amp (does it have the ability to not run off the USB power?)? Have you had pther headphone amps b4? If so, when you get it let me know how it compares to the others youve had/own now.

Thanks for the info.
