This tube amp had nice tone to it! @Cool Jazz knows a bit more about it

Big thanks to @HeadAmpTeam for sharing their gear, was awesome to hear the Solaris and GS-X Mini out of the Bricasti M3

The Grado Hemp was nice too, touch of that Grado rock n roll with a more even tone than I was expecting

These are the Dynamic variant of the Hifiman HE R10, so only $1300, I thought they had a nice full bodied tone with a big open stage and airy top end
@Cool Jazz also had a chance to hear em

I love hearing friends talk about their systems and how we love and strive for different features in our system. I'm very happy with my current audio system.
I'm happy to have recommendations also, @phillyd suggested a different tv/monitor, so my non-audio take away from this meet was to acquire a new monitor to go with my main system.

Boy...what a nice day. So good to see everybody again and really enjoyed the day! Thanks so much for hosting a superb day Kilkil.

As I expressed while there, I can't believe more from the Nashville area don't take advantage of this meet. Such a spread of equipment that you can checkout all back to back to back and hear differences that really incredible equipment can expose, all as you please. Great folks to!!

Thanks for the really nice pictures above too!

I'm always so glad that i got the opportunity to put a pause on life for at least one day and enjoy the treat of a day with audio and friends!

@Cool Jazz , I agree. I"m not sure why more people don't take advantage of this amazing meet and group of friends. I love having everyone over.

Damn, hated to miss the meet, but I’m in a non-walking cast waiting to get my CT scan back. I’m hoping to avoid surgery.

@Wildcatsare1 I hope you get to avoid surgery also.

My new monitor came in... First challenge is even though the monitor is 3" smaller than my last, it is too big to fit my stand as is.

I love my speaker system (Yggy to Pass Pre and Amp to SoundLab electrostatics) and only listen to IEMs on the airplane. My headphone system is pretty much collecting dust. Attending meets is so much more than just listening to gear, my first meet, i barely said a word and listened to everything i could. As i've learned more, the meets morphed more into conversations with friends.

I listened a little, particularly to the Abyss 1266, which was the first headphone that I liked better than my Quad 2905, and this headphone is still my favorite non-electrostatic. I love the Stax 009 and if I still spent time with headphones i would definitely own a Stax system.
