My friends 1st gen iPod nano went through the wash and drier recently and told me it doesn't turn on anymore, so he said I can have it. Unfortantly he and his friends scratched adn threw it around thinking it was a lost cause. Anywho, this is what it looked like when I brought it home. They scratched my name into it.

It works only when plugged into the charger. When unplugged it shuts of instantly. I'm just waiting for a replacement battery and it will be back to it's fully functional self!

Also sanded the front down to remove the scratches, it just needs a good polishing, and it'll look like new again.

So, if you've got a nano that went through the wash, it's still savable!

I'm glad it's a 1st gen Nano, since I'm going to RockBox it.
