Hi, I was wondering if anyone can recommend earphones for nano 5g. I was thinking about RE2 or APPLE In-Ear Earphones. Any other ideas ?
I mostly listen to rock and heavy metal.

In your case. since you have a 5G iPod nano, I'd recommend the Klipsch Image S4i for now (US$99 retail), since the S4i has the in-line remote control that works with the 5G nano.

If you're willing to wait, you can get the Etymotic Research mc3 headphone, which costs US$99 retail and should be available some time in February 2010.

Something to keep in mind, I bought the RE2s. Though the mids and highs were fantastic, I felt it lacked enough bass, and I'm a metal head.

Another idea would be, Nuforce NE-7m, or NE-6 (depending if you want the microphone or not.) More bass response without getting rid of detailed highs and mids.

That's just my opinion, you might not like as much bass as I do.

Thanks for your replies. I guess I'll go with Nuforce NE-6. Do you know how much burn-in time they require ?
