Basically the title. I've had my iPod touch since 2008(!) and have been using it on a daily basis. Still works just fine even though it's taken quite a beating over the years

So basically, if the sole criterion is durability, which DAP is my best option?

I so want to buy the FiiO M11, but I'm not buying it if I'm just going to have to replace it in a couple of years.

for $2000 I can just buy a new M11 every time it breaks

If you are concerned about durability, then you should buy a portable music player without a screen...the list is not long trough.
