Thanks for that... here are the release notes:
 
The D 1050 software update V3.1 is a maintenance release that includes the following changes:

1.   Defeat relay click noise at USB source when playback is resumed from pause mode of more than 5 seconds.
2.   Change remote control code from AMP library code to DAC library code.

 
Applicable NAD remote controls for D1050 are those with the DAC library code like the DR1 or the HTR
version remote controls wherein the DAC library can be programmed. 



 
Be CAREFUL ... if you are like me, and acquired a D 3020 remote to use with your D 1050, you will NO LONGER be able to use your remote.
 
If you have an NAD HTR remote (the big one that comes with the AVRs, et al.), you can control your D 1050 like an external DAC using that set of controls.
 
Personally, I have 2 NAD remotes (for an int. amp and a pre-amp) - neither of which would drive the D 1050 if I apply the upgrade.

Recently gathered the beta22 amplifier. Have a comparison with nad 1050. Beta 22 pereigrat nad1050 of course, but not by much...

3.2 is out for D 3020 but the update software is crashing:

v3.2 is out for D3020 but the software seems to be corrupted, It crashes on Win 10 x64 and Win 7 x64.
 
There is no changelog, according to the filename v3.2 was issued the 17th of december.

Please guys, someone who has the 2.1 or 2.7 for the NAD D3020? I am quite disappointed with the EQ setting on the v3.2 in comparison to the v2.1 factory one.
ps: I can't even hear the 88Khz and 172Khz difference I heard before!
