I've caught the upgrading bug once again, and this time I have to give in. I've been searching around for mods to the NAD c541i. Unfortunately, there aren't any DIYers that do mods for this particular model (or any NAD source for that matter).
Some have suggested that I use this CD player as a transport and use a DAC. I've been wondering if this upgrade would be worth my money. Currently, I've been deliberating over whether to:
1) Forget about upgrading the CD player and buy some power components instead.
2) Buy the ART DI/O and buy the Bolder mods.
3) Buy a Bel Canto DAC1 or DAC2 (the DAC2 kinda expensive for me now though)
Any other suggestions or ideas on this topic?
