Hello! I've got a pair of these, cheap (maybe too good to be true cheap, as they sound very clear and almost flat, to me), but the thing is there are no markings anywhere.

Front was covered with generic mesh and holes for the logo are at the bottom. No logo itself. Speakers are mounted using Torx screws.

On the back there just bass reflex and pins. I was able to take out the thing that holds connectors. Drivers have no marking on them at all, just bare metal, no signs on the wood (MDF), crossover circuit has number 29 on the back and LX-100BS sticker on the front.

I've tried googling around a lot, and it seems they are Technics, maybe SB LX series, but I failed to find exact match. Maybe I'm totally wrong, but design looks familiar.

Any ideas? Sorry for crappy photos, that's what I have to live with now :frowning2:

Thanks!

And you want to know why?

Well the Question is why?

I like they way they sound nevertheless, without any branding, it just drives me nuts being a geek and not knowing what's in front of me. Guess that's for why.
I do want to know the specs, like how many watts they're able to handle, what resistance are they (to match receiver), that sort of stuff, maybe price range. I got them with an old but kicking Technics SA-120, which drives them well

After spending a stupid amount of time googling speakers, the bolt pattern is strikingly like the KLH Albany... But the Albany look like they're a bit bigger. I think there was another speaker I saw that looked similar, but I couldn't find it when I looked again (stupid browser history erased itself)... I wouldn't be surprised if yours is either a discontinued KLH surround speaker, or something manufactured by their OEM but sold as something else.

Really appreciate your effort!
Your Google-fu is way stronger than mine, spent more than I can publicly admit on this quest as well :)

It looks exactly like if we split two fronts of KLH Beacon Dipole into their own speakers and change LF driver, looks just like the real thing, everything aligns.
I wouldn't be surprised if these have aftermarket drivers, but they do sound really balanced and wiring/threading looks intact.

I will do some more digging when I get the chance, and hopefully post an update.

Oof. I have to stop doing this!
Google-fu is more tiring than it looks!

Looks like Voxx International is the owner of several brands of speakers (and other consumer electronics), many of which use the same/similar drivers and cabinets to one another. None of them looks exactly like your speaker, but several look similar. I wasn't able to find a complete listing of the Voxx subsidiaries, but if you're willing to dig a little deeper you may find what you're looking for.

Also, you're welcome! These sorts of mysteries are a fun way to spend time that should be spent doing something more productive!
