ok Denon it is winning on Mylarone. I don't have experience of earphones if not those of equipment to the mp3. I thinks that their critical point is the cable.
I would want understand the time of life of good level earphone (Denon, Shure etc)
Because if after one year an earphone bought 150$ needs of being replacing is not is a good thing

You will be replacing the Mylar. PERIOD. Whther it's two month or a year. To me it's not worth the hassle. My Denon cable is of much better quality. A lot matters on whtehr or not you take care of the phone too though. If you constantly leave the 3.5 mm jack in the DAP and through it in a bag or pocket, it can be detrimental.

My two cents:

I too bought the 351s on a whim from Target (I had been listening to a $15 pair of Sony earbuds for about 7+ years and nothing else I listened to really impressed me). I was amazed by the detail in the 351s, so I got to thinking: If these sound this good for $45, then what would the more expensive ones sound like? That's when I came across Head-Fi through a google search and found soozieq's C700 thread. After reading the posts and some other reviews, I decided I'd go for a pair of the C700s, but I wasn't ready to spend $200 on eps.

Then I saw that Amazon put the 751 on sale for $128.44. I jumped on it! In all fairness, you can't compare the sq of the 351 to the 700/751. But if you don't want to spend that much, then I don't think you could go wrong with the 351. I REALLY enjoyed them before I bought the 751. I have to admit that it's hard for me to go back to the 351. They are just as forward as the 751, but the soundstage is linear, for lack of a better description. The soundstage on the 751 has volume/depth. Consider this, the 351 is a line but the 751 is a circle.

Hope this helps you. But again, I don't think you could go wrong with the 351, if that's as much as you're willing to spend. They were the reason I decided to upgrade. But be careful, they may have the same effect on you and you may eventually buy the more expensive eps anyway.

Thanks for your very good help. I am convincing myself to buy the medium model (c551). My perplexity, as I have already written, is the duration of the earphones.
It does not go me to spend too much dollars for an item that can last less also than a year

It's all depend on how you take care of the phone. Where you put the phone when you not using it, in pouch or just lying around. How you wind the cable, just like winding a rope or doing it over and under as it has to be if you want the metal inside no twisted. How you take it off, just yank it from the Y section or take the casing out from your ear. All depends on your actions, but there are phones that aren't built up to standard so no matter how you do, it will break eventually sooner or later.

Shipping: Currently, item can be shipped only within the U.S.
