You can count this as my first post as I must say I was really intrigued by your review of VSonic brand IEM-s. Alongside my Sennheisers HD558, HD25-1 II & PX100, VSonic would by my primary choice for IEM. I have to decide between GR06 and GR07 or even GR04. I am just done of reading through Multi IEM Review of 208 IEMs compared and that score system implemented there was really helpful to determine the differences between. I am completely aware that scoring system cannot be exact as people have different taste about music as everything else. Still i find it as great guideline to all of us judging from number of posts there. That's why, I really wonder now, how you much points you will give to each VSonic (R04 Pro, GR04, GR06), a current family of phones in regard of different categories. On example, VSonic GR07 got for Accessories (4.5/5), Build Quality (4.5/5), Isolation (4/5), Microphonics (4.5/5), Comfort (4/5), Sound (9.1/10) so Ijokerl counts that as value of (9.5/10).
 
In any case, big thanks for the effort you have put so far in the review! It felt really great to read all about it. I also invite everybody else to get involved. It would be really interesting how much you will give points to each one of categories.

Well, |joker's| scale is a complex one only known to him.  He is a world-renowned iems reviewer.  He has his complex methods and algorithms that he goes by.  I am just a music enthusiast that loves what he hears and will share with others.  Is there anything specific that you are interested in?

I have given my ears a little break from iems this week, so I'm rocking some Ultrasones.

Thanks for the fast reply HeatFan12 and the warm welcome! I am more an enthusiast than expert so in that way I am perfectly aware how complex |joker's| scale is I have just wondered how much points you will personally give to each model by let's say a rule of thumb. I guess, I like numbers and numbers could be also a interesting way to reflect your personal experience. I could not to notice how much you love the brand. With all that love and all the VSonic models you currently have, nobody will object if you miss by notch if at all.
 
When it comes to what I like, genres differ but it's mostly classical and orchestral score music with some breakbeat themes here and there. Still, I would expect from my IEM to be more than good in overall sound picture than just specialise in some area more than another. Soundtracks these days are really mixture from various analog and digital sources especially in games, take on example the composer Jesper Kyd with and his Assassin's Creed OST on example This is not an ad, just trying hard to explain what I like
 
I cannot really decide between GR06 and GR07, especially because of a new flagship coming any day from now. If the difference is just marginal (if any at all audiophile could say) maybe it's not bad idea to save with GR06 until that day comes. I have the money but my impression from just reading the reviews is that the difference is just marginal considering the difference in price, three to one. Still, I do not feel is justified for me to give any rates as I have not heard them playing at all.

Haven't stopped in for a while, but my IE7's just broke. Ordered a pair of GR06's to tide me over til I can afford some 07's.. They look really promising! I'm hoping they arrive tomorrow. Paid for special delivery but didn't order til 15.44 today. Fingers crossed! Thanks for the informative reviews HeatFan12!

Nope mine didn't either, but for me it makes no difference anyway.  But you can't complain about the accessories with the GR06, it's ridiculous the amount you get!

No complaints here, the amount they provide is ridiculous in a good way. I just wanted to know if that's the most updated version so I can note that in my review. I also noticed the cable is much softer and easier to handle than the one on the GR07.

The GR06 I ordered last Friday will be in my hands by Wednesday. It shipped out today at 9 AM and it'll be in the city by tomorrow. I could have it by tomorrow, but most likely by Wednesday.
