I wanted to show everyone one of 3 Ipod LOD cables I started making. First of all, this is just the cable without the LOD/Mini plug on it yet.

Components:
1) 99.9% pure stranded Silver (with teflon coating and braided Silver shielding)
2) Blue plastic tubing for rigidity
3) Nylon braiding for protection/aesthetics

Sorry about that, it was a typo. It's just stranded silver. But it's awesome stuff.

What make is the stranded silver cable?

I'm not sure actually, I get it in bulk from a friend who make interconnects (He orders extra wire for me). Some of the silver wire I have is made by HGA, and the other stuff is unbranded. The unbranded stuff is around $20 a foot though, so not too cheap.

I used to get some cheapo Silver wire for free from my dad when his place of employment used Silver wire, but now they use copper. Sp no more scrap wire for me. But this new stuff I have has a far better sonic punch/signature.
