Just got my RE2s in the mail today and thought I'd post my thoughts on them. I'm no audiophile so I can't go into all the specifics and these are without any burn in time. I tested them with Made You Look by Nas, Afterlife by A7X and Superman's Dead by OLP on my ipod. Overall these sound a LOT better than my CX300s, the sound is a lot more detailed. The bass is kind of lacking though, had to turn the bass booster on in the EQ. Compared to my SJ5s, the RE2s sound focuses more on the high and mid notes.

It took mine around 50 hours or so for the sound to open up. I liked it a lot more after the burn in period.

I dont think theyre lacking in bass at all actually. They do sound better with an amp but I feel that the bass is very good for an IEM in this price range.
