I was very close to getting rid of these headphones until tonight when I re-discovered them. I am sure this little trick was posted elsewhere but since I discovered it by playing around thought I post it anyway.
So by connecting the headphones powered on and wired to my LG G7, I was suddenly able to get the DAC on high impedance mode. This does not always work in the first attempt. Sometimes in the second sometimes a few are required. But once the phone shows the 50 ohm icon, the headphones start to sing. They open up completely! Don’t know how or what happens. Am a complete novice in this Marvelous head-if world and I can’t really compare them, but listening to my 96/24 FLACs of Joe Jackson’s Body and Soul and I am smiling - a lot
