My SE530s developed cracks in the cabling (both sides) right before the monitor. I mailed them into Shure, with a letter explaining that I no longer had the receipt. After some haggling, they eventually replaced the phones and shipped them back at no cost. While I wasn't too happy to see my $350+ headphones develop cracks in the first place, Shure eventually did the right thing and stood behind their product.
