After many years of reliable use, my pair of discontinued Philips HP910 are finally getting raggedy and hard to repair.

Have any of you had any experience with these and perhaps found a suitable replacement?

I find it's really hard to switch to any other pair. I keep going back to them. They sound incredible, especially for how much they cost ($50 at the time).

My ($35) Panasonic RP-HTF600-S, will arrive early next week, I'll let you know how they sound.
The ($25) Velour pads for the HTF-600-S should arrive a few days later.

Thanks to the both of you.

It seems the Panasonic headphones are starting to make a ripple in the audio pond. I'm seeing that pair referenced everywhere I go now.

I think I will try them out. I am always open to more suggestions as well.
