Ipod Nano 2GB, 1st GEN. Black
ALO Vampire Dock
Little Dot Micro+ Silver Low Gain
Sony MDR-EX71SL

Tied with velcro strap, Got the Ipod today, didn't have time to shop for an ipod case, for today, I reversed the protective cover, opened the bottom with a utility knife, tied to my amp. Tomorrow I'll look for a good case.

Only issue so far is, normally EX71s sound well and i like the isolation but when I listen through the amp, lack of bass and very very high treble.. I may go for a better set of earbuds, in-ear preffered.. what do you recommend?

Lovely -I love the look of those Vampires

But ditch the 71s - i could never get them sounding good, with or without an amp. Think I had fit problems to be fair (ish) to them...

honestly? That seems like a little too much effort for a pair of EX71. What are your musical choices, do you want canal or IEM, what's your budget?

I think you should've invested in some quality IEMs rather than put all that effort into amping the ex71

With that gear I'd go with E500s or UE-10s.

I'd go with the UE10s if I could though, the custom molds must be sooooooooooo good and people say that regular IEMs + customs don't sound that well.

I would suggest that before you do nething more or even think of buying a new pair of HeadPhones..update your music collection. Your rig deserves it.
