I am beginning to love them more and more. It sounds smooth, sweet, and never annoying. They sound neither dark nor dull. I used to own 3 headphones and if i can sell off the rs1, hd600 will be the only can I own.

Always nice to see someone who found his headphone, especially the one only. I am in the same boat, but a bit opposite, well, kind off...

I never tried HD600, only HD650. What is the biggest difference. Just to lazy to search, sorry...

Yea my Blue dragon HD600 has been my favorite headphone I've owned, and one of my favorites that I've tried.

I always hear that the 650 is basically the same, just a bit darker.

Different but not totally opposite. The funny thing is I prefer k701 to hd650 but prefer hd600 to all of them. It might be at that time the hd650 was with the stock cable.

I did compare hd600 to hd650, ad2000 and dt880 and turned out to be my favourite out of them. So i bought them to be a complement but unexpectedly it has overthrown all of my other headphones.

hd600 lover here too!
out of all the cans i had tried, i liked hd650 and dt990.
then i tried hd600. within the first minute, i knew they were the perfect headphones for me. hd650 and dt990 were sold off a week later.

I am interested to know this as well. I just recently got a pair of HD650's and i am loving them, but it seems so many think the HD600's are better?

No, a small number of people that just happen to post in groups.

from what i know

HD600 is more neutral and little snappy..

HD650 has a slight hump in the bass and is more fluid.

for me i like snap in the music transition..whereas some prefer fluid like music.

I have a Cardas on my HD-600, too. It is a special headphone - I spent quite a bit of time listening to it last night.

There isn't a huge difference between the HD-600 and the HD-650. The HD-600 is more neutral and almost a touch bright. The HD-650 is a little darker, smoother and groovier. What I mean by "dark" is like getting a 20% tint in a pair of glasses, as opposed to the clarity of the HD-600. Everything is in proportion to everything else, it's just that everything is equally turned down a notch. They're exceptionally smooth with 2A3 tubes - that kept me up to almost 3AM this morning!
