MY ms2's and iriver imp 350= no hiss

why? i can't hear one single thing that sounded like a hiss... even when nothing was playing and all was totally quiet... this is coming from a guy that can hear very faintly his t.v. even when the volume is all the way down.

ya... me too... i can't hear any hiss on the headphone out and lineout of my imp-550 as well... just so quiet...

so it's just closed efficient phones.. but the room i was in was totaly quiet... hmm.. oh... well... i'll be getting one o them phillips 936a next year probably and then the iriver will mostly be used with either dt 700 or (most likely) dt 831's... excellent.

there's no hiss for my imp350, i only hear low tone noise when its on but not playing anything. i slam my car door on my remote though. now the red imp400 is the most beautiful looking player

That's the unamped signal.. you use that to plug into an outside amp.

At higher volumes you will hear white noise without an amp..

And you turn the volume on the remote up to 40 for the pure audio (for amps and what not).

Also, regarding the hiss.. it is quite apparent at low volume levels on my Senn MX400 and my Sony D66 Eggos...

On the KSC-35s it requires careful hearing.. but it's there.

(only headphone out, and on my 350 by the way)
