When i first test my Grado on my mixer vs with Total Bithead i had a So Big difference that i had a a doubt it was only the DAC who give me a soo good sound, i do the test Grado direct to PC headphone output and the sound was great, since this day i thought my Eurorack UB1002 s@ck, but i saw this thread where someone with high end Amp, CDP etc.. use a mixer close to mine (mine is Eurorack UB1002 ) and then i wonder my mixer really s@ck or he's high end and just need good cable ?

When i refer to the term high end i mean RS-1 and Cantate/Opera level

Thank's

I sent PM to OP and post on the thread but got no reply

Euroracks work well for Live shows, maybe a band jam session or even a small studio. But they dont work well for listening to music, the headphone out is more for monitoring purposes. It will go against all the shortest signal path work that your Cantate is doing, and degrade the overall SQ.

Even otherwise, its not high end, its a cheap albeit very functional solution for small studios etc. Heck I have one too for all my recording work, it works great
