I was just listening to some spyro gyra with my 75's and my soha and these little guys cook. I mean I turn up the volume and these things just sound better and better.All this from some 8 dollar cans. WOW.

My 225's sound good to but the ksc's seem to really synergize well. I am surprised.I may need to recable my ksc's to give them more length.I think what it is that the 225's are more critical on recordings.

I have a german RFT tube in the soha right now so it could be that the ksc's like that tube more than the 225's.

I don't know, I always sorda hated the ksc75s for serious listening. I'm happy that you really enjoy them.

This could be it... The KSCs sound good without an amp with just about any source. But then again, I've read lotsa people say that, for amping, KSC75 was one of the most responsive cans for them.

Tho, I can't verify any of this for myself because Xin is taking his sweet time upgrading all his amps!!!!
