Now I found out what were my old earplugs when I had my minidisc player Sony MZ-1.

These were called Sony MDR-E747,they did lag a little bit bass, but they had stunning soundstage and excellent treble.

From that poinnt my new Fontopia E888 sound like kiddy crap.

Where can I get earplugs that equal the Sq of these E747?
I hope there is something outside that is as good.

I thought technic ets more and more better but it seems to be the other way round.

PS : cannot find the E747 anymore but they sound soooo goood.

hello,

Don't know what release MZ-1 you had, but the US version came with the MDR-34D as the stock supplied earphones which was superceded by the MDR-24

Earbuds were not included in the US release.
