Here's a little background on the story: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/3902227-post1.htmlhttp://www.head-fi.org/forums/f11/cl...-vinyl-303689/

Basically I found a bunch of vinyl for free, my first vinyl 'collection' actually. The only vinyl i've ever owned before this was a limited edition pressing of the Rage Against The Machine single 'No Shelter'. (which I threw away, of course - the idiocy of youth!

Well, I'm especially curious about that Machito with Flip Phillips. That was one of those let's-get-great-people-together-and-see-what-works sessions dreamed up by producer Norman Granz. The late Chico O'Farrill, another Cuban jazz arranger, once told me that Granz said to him, "Don't worry. You fall on your face, I'll pay for it."
