We have to write a sonnet for AP Lit and although the syllables are a little off I followed the format perfectly and am proud of what I came up with. And I hope you guys are too

Many want to see it, but only few ever do
They like to hold and admire, but I like to see
I really hate the sound of things being new
My IEMs are Triple Fi 10s
It takes too long to find the perfect sig
When I hear them I’m always all grins
A four strand LoD and an amp for the rig
This makes perfect sound that flows like a river
Premium amps and clean CD rips
For 100 more I can make the sound shimmer
My sound comes from the three driver Trips
My all time genre is acoustic
My life always revolves around music

So what do you guys think? It's definitely getting an A right?

EDIT: I re-did it a little and here's the final product

its not a sonnet, but I don't expect that your teacher expects you to write a sonnet, as writing a successful sonnet is the product of years, studying other poetic forms, and not something that could be learned in a single AP lit class. I hope your classmates like it.

It's pretty good.

I remember being taught that a sonnet (at least, a Shakespearian sonnet) should answer some question on which the author is indecisive. The first two "blocks" ask the question and waver, the third contains the discovery, and the last two lines confirm it. So to put that in context I guess you'd be thinking about different phones, and then discover the triple.fi is the best of them all.
