Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia.

That first drop was pretty good but the ride is short although I did wait only 15 minutes in line. I think the Alpengeist coaster is more exciting.

That same ride is at the Busch Gardens here in Tampa. It's called Shei Kra, I think the drop might be a bit longer though. Also, The cars are "floorless".

I love vertical drop coasters. They rank up there with rides like the Big Shot in Vegas.

Back when I was in my teens and 20's I used to love rollercoasters. Granted a lot has happened in 20 years, now they are faster and taller and scarier.

However, as I have gotten older

I do not think I would fare well if I rode one of the new ones.

Ever notice the smell of a dumpster as you get on the ride? That last row is not the place to be

. I have also retired from the dreaded coasters. The newer tube units are fast but the Beast (wooden) is still a wicked ride.

To all those still gutting it out, I salute you.
