Well I finally got these pics developed that I took of my very first creation, a CMOY in an Altoids tin, or what used to be an Altoids tin (I stripped off the paint). Please excuse the horrendous picture quality!

That looks real sharp, fiddler. Congratulations on getting the 2 9volts into that case. It sounds great though eh? I'm listening through mine right now, with 4 batteries (2 in parallel for the old batteries). I'm in the middle of doing my own Altoids project for my Apheared 47 variant. The cap size is the main obstacle right now; I'm trying to fit the lovely Cerafines I got from erix into the project

Thanks Zoboomofo. It sure is quite tight in there. Everything just BARELY squeezed in. It sure does sound MUCH better than the headphone jacks you'd find on crappy portables, but I rarely use it at home. The Corda really is a much superior amp-- more detail, treble extension, airiness, soundstage, tighter bass...
I'm looking into building a META42 right now. The rave reviews it's been getting has really got me interested!

Here are the guts:

To give you an idea of its size, here's a pic comparing it to some of my other gear.
From top-left, clockwise: Corda HA-1, Panasonic SL-CT570, Sharp MD-MT77, and my CMoy

*glances at wasted posts above* Wow, I wish oh I wish we could delete our own posts...

Thanks again Eric.
