I have this thing working, to the point where it is sitting my my desk taking input from my computer and driving my DT250-250's to a nice volume. I am wondering, if in the learned opinion of longtime headfi'rs if adding the default panasonic pot to this setup would be worth my time, or if it would be better to just leave well enough alone and enclose the amp setup without any independent volume control. It is also the default gain of 11, with 470uf caps, .22 uf inputs, and a 2132 op-amp. I also sucessfully wired a switching wall wart port and a SPDT switch inline with the battery harnass, so that it automatically cuts power to the batter when I plug in the ac adapter.

hopefully my good luck continues

it depends on what your source is guess. if u have a variable source then you should be fine by leaving it without the pot. if its a lineout on a portable player then a volume pot is a good thing to have, as you probably cant change the output of the lineout.

btw congrats on the cmoy, i finished mine 2 days ago, and it worked first time also
