Hello Everyone
I was wondering if anyone have run across a similar issues with their MP3 player. I have the Fiio X1 first generation and it is having all sorts of issue. It doesn't matter whether or not it is FLAC, MP3, etc, it will randomly play a small section of another song while a current song is playing so it sounds like it is some sort of mix tape for a bit. In addition, it will have these small instances of high screech noise sorta like a DJ scratching their disc on a turn table.
I have tried to downloading the firmware update from this following site [http://fiio.me/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=39932&extra=page%3D1]. However when I try the update, it will run for 15% of the progress and then state "the upgrade file is corrupted". I tried doing it with three different version [1.5, 1.6, and 2.0]. Currently I am on the 1.3 firmware. So I was wondering what else I can do? I can't return this because this was a gift about 7 months ago but I never opened it until now.
