I had originally placed an order for my Lead inMotion bag on Saturday night, and was very excited for it to arrive. Well, I happened to learn on Monday that the Lead color was in fact backordered, and wouldn't be able to be shipped for another 2-3 weeks. The only colors they had left were Checker (my second choice) and Taxi. So, I emailed Rommel back that night, and to my surprise they had shipped the Checker bag early Tuesday morning!
So, fast forward to today (Thursday) and I now have my new inMotion bag sitting on my desk! I was pretty impressed with the way they handled the whole situation, and were very quick to return my emails.
Moving on, this image didn't last long, as I ripped the box open pretty quick to finally get my hands on the goods inside.
I took a few minutes to organize the case, and quickly noticed that the padding was pretty thick inside. You should have no worries about damaging your DAP or PCDP by bumping into things. Also, the material is very sturdy and has self locking zippers, which I liked. The overall build quality is very nice, although I think the shoulder strap could have been a tad more beefier., especially the part that connects to the metal case loop.
After organizing my gear in the bag, here is the final product:
Here is the front pocket, in here I keep my ER-4S's, extra foam tips, IC's, and MX400's.
Here is the first large compartment, where I keep my crappy Sony PCDP, and also where some CD's will reside. When I'm on the road for my CC and Track meets, my charger will go in here also.
And finally, here is where I keep my iHP-120, Super Mini (and it's battery pack), and the iHP's remote.
I'd highly recommend this case to anyone who has a good bit of "portable" gear and needs a place to keep it while traveling, this is the perfect companion. As a matter of fact, the entire ordering experience was great, and sfbags.com sure does know how to make their customers smile.
Any questions? I'd be happy to answer them
