Well, yesterday afternoon I has nothing to do so went to my dad's old furniture workshop and started building a headphone stand. After some hours (more or less 6-7hours) this was the result.

It is all wood covered with blue and red leather.
I was going to use black leather instead of blue but I didn't has any left.

It has a heavy feel, it heights about 1,5 pounds and the arm is detachable for easy transportation.

I am planning to add something where I can wind the cord, also leathered.
I don't know the price for the materials cause I had them all already but it should be more than 30-50 € depending on the wood and leather you use.
I will do a detailed step by step guide on doing such a stand, but only in end of september when I come back from my apprenticeship in cambridge.
So please give me your oppinions and if you know any way I could improve it, please fell free to post it.

Hope you like it.

I had already thought about this design before headphile showed their stands. I saw them before I did it, of course, but I had already the look I wanted in my head.

I like the leather a lot... gives it some grip and natural padding

My headphone stand is a $1.99 door hook from the hardware store.
Yours is much nicer, but mine works better with my cluttered desk arrangement
